Dhaka Fashion Hub: 420% Organic Traffic Growth

Dhaka Fashion Hub came to Adfix Agency facing a classic e-commerce SEO crisis: ballooning paid-ad spend, near-zero organic visibility, and a website architecture that Google couldn't efficiently crawl. Over six months of systematic SEO work, we turned their organic channel from an afterthought into their primary revenue driver - delivering a 420% traffic increase and replacing paid ads entirely.

    Background

Founded in 2019, Dhaka Fashion Hub sells traditional Bangladeshi garments - sarees, panjabis, and salwar kameez - primarily to urban Dhaka customers. By early 2023, they were spending ৳4.5 lakh/month on Google Ads with a cost-per-acquisition of ৳1,800 per order, far above their ৳150 product margin target. Organic traffic contributed fewer than 820 sessions per month despite having 400+ SKUs indexed.

    What We Found

    • 78% of product pages had duplicate title tags auto-generated by their CMS template
    • Category pages were blocked in robots.txt - Google had never crawled them
    • Core Web Vitals failed on all metrics: LCP 8.2s, CLS 0.42, FID 380ms
    • Zero structured data across the entire site - no Product, BreadcrumbList, or Organization schema
    • Domain rating of 11 with only 4 referring domains - no link equity
    • No internal linking between product and category pages - 'orphan' product problem

    Our Strategy

    1Phase 1: Technical Foundation (Weeks 1–5)

    • Removed robots.txt block on /category/ URLs; re-submitted sitemap → 340 pages newly indexed within 14 days
    • Eliminated duplicate title tags via custom CMS template rules for all product types
    • Implemented lazy-loading, WebP conversion, and CDN caching → LCP improved to 2.1s
    • Deployed Product schema on 400+ SKU pages with price, availability, and brand markup
    • Rebuilt internal linking with programmatic breadcrumbs and 'related products' widgets

    2Phase 2: On-Page & Content (Weeks 3–14)

    • Rewrote meta titles and descriptions for 400+ pages using keyword-intent mapping
    • Created 12 pillar content articles (2,000–3,500 words each) around high-volume fashion topics
    • Published 48 supporting cluster articles targeting long-tail Eid, wedding, and seasonal keywords
    • Optimised 18 category pages with buying-guide content, generating featured-snippet wins
    • Produced a Bangladesh Fashion Trend Report - became the most-linked page on the domain

    3Phase 3: Authority & Link Building (Weeks 8–24)

    • Earned 85 editorial backlinks from fashion blogs, lifestyle publications, and BD news sites
    • Secured 3 features in Dhaka Tribune, The Daily Star, and Prothom Alo online
    • Built 120 citations across local directories with consistent NAP signals
    • Executed 6 digital PR campaigns around Eid, Pohela Boishakh, and wedding season

    Frequently Asked Questions

How long did it take to see the first results?
Indexation improvements were visible within 14 days of the technical fixes. First meaningful traffic gains appeared in Month 2, and significant commercial results (revenue above ad spend) arrived by Month 4.
Did you touch the website code directly?
We worked alongside their developer to implement technical changes. Adfix provided detailed specifications for CMS template changes and Core Web Vitals optimisations; the client's developer implemented them under our direction.
What happened to their paid ads?
The client voluntarily paused Google Ads in Month 6 after organic revenue exceeded their monthly ad spend for the first time. We advised maintaining a small retargeting budget, which they continue to run.
"Within 3 months we saw more organic orders than from paid ads. By month 6 we paused Google Ads entirely - SEO had completely replaced it."
